Chelsea are in central Germany on Thursday evening for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Blues travel to Commerzbank-Arena in the midst of a central
defensive crisis, with manager Maurizio Sarri admitting that injuries to
Antonio Rudiger and Gary Cahill have left his backline 'in trouble'.
Chelsea may have been expecting to face Benfica in the last four
after surviving a bizarre scare against Slavia Prague, only for
Frankfurt to pull off a dramatic second-leg comeback against the
Portuguese top-flight leaders.
Riding as high as fourth in the Bundesliga, Die Adler -
surprise German Cup winners last term under Niko Kovac - are enjoying a
superb season and in Luka Jovic boast one of European football's most sought-after young talents.
